Little Simz, Obongjayar - Point And Kill

Point And Kill is an insanely groovy and addicting song straight from the get go. It comes from a collaboration between UK artist Little Simz and Nigerian artist Obongjayar. Apparently, Obongjayar recorded his parts of the song with Little Simz in her living room. 

The song is a fascinating blend that you can feel of UK and Nigerian culture, and the blend works super well. The title Point And Kill, according to Little Simz, comes from “a phrase used in Nigeria to pick out fish at the market, or a store. You point, they kill. But also metaphorically, whatever I want, I’m going to get in the same way, essentially.” The message fits the song perfectly, as it sounds like an anthem for never giving up.
